It’s quite easy to figure out how much a fancy restaurant dinner or local coffee routine are costing you, but there are some other expenses which can be fairly harder, like the costs of increasing your home’s thermostat during winter. I for one have a
portable hot tub connected to my pool which I use during late spring and near the beginning of fall, but it’s not clear to how much it is used. Basically, the water goes around through the pool and hot tubs so that both units have similar temperature. In order to use the portable hot tub, it is a must to divert the water flow into the hot tubs and then heat the water. I have always felt that fuzzy feeling inside that this could even be more costly than its value, but I haven’t really worked it out yet. As me and my family use the hot tub for colder weather when we are no longer heating the pool, the level of heating that is need differs with the pool’s temperature. The heating amount that is required extends from about thirty up to sixty degrees Fahrenheit. Now, the question is, much it does it cost for warming the portable hot tub up another degree Fahrenheit? After experimenting, I have found that hot tubs heat up to about twenty degrees in thirteen minutes o or a little less, while the heater takes about thirty-seven seconds to use up one-tenth of natural gas cubic meter, depending upon timing the rotating pointers on the gas meter of the portable hot tub. Now the final part is that my hot tubs required fuel, the natural gas, costs about thirty-seven cents /cubic meter. This also takes in all the extra charges and taxes which are parallel to the gas needs of my portable hot tub. Now that boils down to the marginal expense of heating up the portable hot tub anywhere from $1.17 and $2.35. This is significantly lesser than I feared that’s why I won’t be worrying much about using it. Of course, this only the additional cost of actually owning hot tubs. I also spend for other set costs which I have not figured out as of yet. SO if you’re looking to owning hot tubs, it’s not only the price of the portable tub itself that you should consider. Remember that in order for the
hot tubs to work, it is going to need to use up a considerable amount of energy. For this reason, it is very important to find out how much are you going to spend each month on power based on the hot tubs model that you purchase. Once you purchase it, there are a few things that you may do in order to minimize your energy expenses. It is important to note that draining the tub should be done only when necessary. When the portable hot tub is drained, the water must not be wasted. It may still be re-used for the lawn or disposed of afterwards in the sewer. The best means of dealing with your operation costs is by purchasing energy efficient hot tubs. The great range of portable hot tub models available on the market today will help you find an energy-efficient and cost-effective model easier, which is quite hard to do before.
