Joy is the emotion of great happiness provided by something or someone momentuously valued.
It is the state of happiness that is sometimes not easy to describe. We find joy in a lot of things and in different circumstances; there is that joy you feel when you know you have the inherent confidence that are loved by someone special, when you get to buy the latest Onitsuka pair of shoes or even when you add a new item to your already existing collection of warships, planes, and cars. All these things may cause a man to experience an inner sensation of jubilation or joy.
People start gathering and collecting things because of that joy and passion that they have towards certain objects, more often than not. Early on, some realize that they have a preponderance to collect caps or cards. We begin to collect objects that we are fond of like marbles, toy cars, or dolls which cannot be acquired in one sitting but requires daily habit of collecting, during our younger years. The very essence of collecting is actually this. You pile up valuable items in your collection through time. In completing you array, the time involved is what gives actual value to your collection. In short, collectors find the greatest joy in patiently and tediously completing their collection more than the financial rewards that they might have later on.
This is the very objective of the collection .While there are individuals who spend a big amount of money in order to complete their collection so that they can turn them into treasures after ages, most collectors find direct satisfaction and joy from their collection by just showing them around visitors and friends. The financial rewards only come in too later, if it is just after a year of collection, it doesnt get to command auction prices. I read an article from Yahoo.com about an old man who had possession of a rare Ming dynasty vase. After 600 years of being hidden from public eye, this rare find emerges into the public's eye and now commands a hefty $1.6 million price tag. Not all collector's items get to find the same path, not most of them as a matter of fact. But it serves to say that most collectors are not motivated by monetary gain. However, theirs is an innate joy and satisfaction that comes along every item that gets added to their collection, slowly, tediously, one time after another, through the years. That's what the real essence of collecting is all about. That's where its joy lies!
Model planes or
model airplanes are items that we can add to our collection of fine quality. They are items that actually command attention from every visitor that drops by our homes. Therefore they are worth investing.
